Mintlify's Autopilot watches your merges and opens docs PRs on its own, at 250 credits per PR
The beta is on Pro and Enterprise plans. It reads code changes, repeated support questions and Slack threads, drafts doc updates and opens a pull request for a person to merge.
Mintlify launched Autopilot in beta on October 20. It connects to your repos and, depending on your plan, to Slack, your project tracker, support tickets and feature flags. When code merges, it reads the diff and drafts the doc change. When the same support question keeps coming in, it writes a page that answers it. When someone flags a mismatch in Slack, it picks up the thread and opens a PR.
Nothing ships without review: Autopilot opens a pull request, tags reviewers and emails them. Mintlify says it picks up your tone and update habits from the PRs you review, so there are no prompts to maintain. Pro plans connect GitHub and Slack, and Enterprise gets the rest of the integrations.
Pricing is per outcome. Each PR it opens or updates costs 250 credits, and runs that find nothing to change cost nothing. The launch post doesn't give a dollar price per credit; it points to Mintlify's credits documentation for that.
Why it matters for builders
Out-of-date docs now mislead coding agents as well as people, because agents read your docs too. A docs PR after each merge, billed only when something changes, is an easy experiment if you already pay for Mintlify.
Try this
In the Mintlify dashboard, open Autopilot, switch on the toggle on the Autopilot card, connect one repo, and review the first PRs it opens before you add more sources.
